We need a source for HD receivers. I was lucky enough to buy a car radio so equipped at hhregg's opening, but they don't have them anymore. Best Buy has a table-model, but it costs about $100.

HD Tuner for component system
If you have a component stereo system, the Sony XDRF1HD HD radio tuner is a small unit which inputs to the receiver and seems do a good job with the digital signal. It can be found online for about $75-80.

put talk on the HD backup, though
We can find resources for HD radios at http://hdradio.com/
But the point for this site is to preserve music programming on the primary channel, not put it on the HD backup channel like the dean has ordered. That only duplicates Jax's programming.
